This Privacy Notice for MyLocalGuard ("we," "us," or "our") describes how and why we might access, collect, store, use, and/or share ("process") your personal information when you use our services, including when you visit https://mylocalguard.com or use MyLocalGuard, a web-based tool that scans Google Business Profile reviews and identifies ones that may violate Google's review policies.

1. WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

We collect personal information you voluntarily provide when you register, including: email addresses, names, usernames, passwords, contact or authentication data, and debit/credit card numbers. Payment data is handled and stored by Stripe. We do not process sensitive information.

We also automatically collect certain information when you visit our Services, including IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, and usage data.


2. HOW DO WE PROCESS YOUR INFORMATION?

We process your personal information to: facilitate account creation and authentication, deliver our services, respond to user inquiries, send administrative information, and fulfill and manage your orders.


3. WHEN AND WITH WHOM DO WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We may share your data with third-party service providers including: AI Platforms (Anthropic), Cloud Computing Services, Data Storage Service Providers, Payment Processors (Stripe), User Account Registration & Authentication Services (Clerk), and Website Hosting Service Providers (Vercel).

We may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to gather information when you interact with our Services to maintain security, prevent crashes, fix bugs, and save your preferences.


5. DO WE OFFER ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE-BASED PRODUCTS?

Yes. We offer AI-powered review analysis through Anthropic's Claude AI. Your review data is processed by Anthropic to provide our services. All personal information processed using our AI Products is handled in line with this Privacy Notice.


6. HOW DO WE HANDLE YOUR SOCIAL LOGINS?

If you register using a social media account (e.g. Google), we will receive certain profile information including your name and email address. We use this information only for authentication purposes as described in this notice.


7. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?

We keep your personal information for as long as you have an account with us, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
